His “Free” cover: hear him sing
In his Weverse Magazine interview, Ahn explains that he chose the song because it reflected Jinu’s feelings. The button above opens the Instagram cover linked in that interview.
This is his own cover. In the original English-language film, Ahn performs Jinu’s dialogue and Andrew Choi provides Jinu’s credited singing voice.
Why is his English so fluent?
Ahn lived in Canada before beginning his career in Korea. He also trained as a K-pop trainee before becoming known as an actor.
Jinu was his first voice-acting role. A camera recorded his expressions and movements during the sessions, which he says helped inform the character’s animation.
