Heebab’s Yeongpunggak in Bucheon: Noodles, Tripe Jjamppong and Set Prices

2026. 10. 21. 09:41

Heebab went to Yeongpunggak (영풍각) in Bucheon because she was curious about its beef-tripe jjamppong. The black-bean noodles ended up winning her over, too. If you are choosing between the dishes in her video, the useful distinction is simple: gan-jjajang for a savory black-bean sauce and fried egg, or kkanyang-jjamppong for a spicy soup with chewy offal.

This is a Korean-Chinese restaurant in Gogang-dong area of Bucheon, outside Seoul proper. Use the Korean name and the exact address below when planning the trip.

Why Heebab visited—and what she actually liked

At the start of the episode, Heebab explains that she has come to an old jjamppong restaurant on a snowy day. She singles out kkanyang-jjamppong as the dish that caught her attention, then orders regular jjajangmyeon, gan-jjajang, seafood fried rice and a small tangsuyuk alongside it.

Her reactions distinguish the two black-bean noodle dishes. She describes the regular jjajangmyeon as less sweet and pleasantly savory. The gan-jjajang tastes more strongly seasoned and deeper to her. She particularly enjoys eating it with the fried egg, returning to that combination later in the meal.

The current menu names the restaurant’s signature version kongbiji + dubu gan-jjajang: black-bean noodles made with soybean pulp and tofu. That matches the unusual ingredient discussion in the video. It does not mean the dish is vegetarian; check the full ingredients with the restaurant if that matters to you.

Gan-jjajang or beef-tripe jjamppong?

Choose gan-jjajang if you want to try the egg-and-sauce combination Heebab praises. The Korean menu name to show the staff is 콩비지+두부 간짜장. The listing describes black-bean paste stir-fried with soybean pulp, tofu and vegetables.

Choose kkanyang-jjamppong if you enjoy offal and want a noodle soup. The restaurant identifies the topping as beef tripe (소양). In the episode, Heebab likes the bean sprouts and describes the broth as clean-tasting yet rich. The photo above shows this soup, not jjajangmyeon.

Beef tripe is part of the appeal, rather than a garnish to ignore. If you dislike chewy offal, the black-bean noodles are the more relevant dish to investigate. The video does not establish a heat level that will suit every diner, so ask about spiciness instead of treating her reaction as a guarantee.

Menu prices and the three Heebab sets

The Naver Place menu checked on October 21, 2026 lists the following prices in Korean won. Its menu update date is September 9, 2026; the restaurant can still change prices or availability.

  • Soybean-pulp and tofu gan-jjajang: ₩10,000.
  • Beef-tripe jjamppong: ₩12,000.
  • Heebab Set 3: ₩30,000. Small tangsuyuk, Cheongyang-chili gan-jjajang and fried rice.
  • Heebab Set 2: ₩37,000. Kkanpung eggplant, gan-jjajang and jjamppong.
  • Heebab Set 1: ₩70,000. Regular jjajangmyeon, gan-jjajang, seafood fried rice, beef-tripe jjamppong, kkanpung eggplant and small tangsuyuk.

Set 3 is the lowest-priced set listed here, but it contains Cheongyang-chili noodles. It is not simply a cheaper version of the same meal. Set 1 recreates a much larger spread; the listing does not specify that it is a fixed number of servings for ordinary diners.

Portion size repeatedly surprises Heebab in the episode. Staff say the regular portions are already large. That is useful context for ordering, but it is not a reason to assume everyone should order the entire set. Compare the number of dishes with your group’s appetite.

Use the map’s live route planner from your actual starting point rather than assuming it is a short walk from a subway station. Parking is listed, but the listing alone does not establish how much space will be available.

Two details the video does not promise

The eggplant dish was provided as a complimentary item during filming. Do not expect every visit to include a free plate: the current menu sells kkanpung eggplant and includes it in certain sets.

The video also discusses takeaway and sauce preferences. Ask for the service you want when ordering; an old filming-day arrangement is not a current delivery or customization policy.
