Jimin’s Bobbi Brown Lip Balm: Bare Pink and the Current Tinted Balm Explained
Jimin’s white lip balm in Vogue Japan’s In The Bag feature was identified as Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint in Bare Pink. The current official Korean store uses a different name, Extra Lip Tinted Balm. That distinction matters if you want to find the item from the video rather than simply buy the newest product with a similar name.
What Jimin actually showed
Vogue Japan’s November 2025 feature describes a lip product he had used for years and repurchased after losing it. He explained that moisture and a subtle touch of color were the appeal. The feature itself does not print the brand name in its article text; the Bobbi Brown and Bare Pink identification comes from the accompanying Starnews reporting linked below.

The current product is not proof of the old formula
On November 1, 2026, Bobbi Brown’s Korean store listed Extra Lip Tinted Balm, 2.5g, at ₩49,000, with Bare Pink among the shades. This is a current Korean retail reference, not the price Jimin paid, and not a promise of the same price in your country.
The useful distinction is between the older Extra Lip Tint name reported for the video and today’s Extra Lip Tinted Balm. A matching shade name does not by itself establish an unchanged formula or identical packaging. If you are comparing a reseller’s older white-case listing with the current store page, read the full product name and size rather than relying on the photograph alone.
Bare Pink is a sheer-color choice
The current official Bare Pink description places it in the clear, sheer pink direction. The brand presents the product as a tinted balm that can be worn alone or with lipstick. That makes the decision different from choosing a fully opaque lipstick: your natural lip color can remain visible.
For an everyday hint of color, a sheer balm may fit the look you want. If your priority is covering your natural lip tone or drawing a sharp lip line, first compare a swatch with a more pigmented product. A celebrity video is useful for identifying an item, but its lighting and camera color are not a reliable shade test for your own lips.

Three checks before ordering
Check the product family. Extra Blushing Lip Oil is a separate product. A listing that contains “Extra” and “Bobbi Brown” is not enough to establish that it is the stick balm discussed here.
Check the version. Ask whether the listing is the older Extra Lip Tint or the current Extra Lip Tinted Balm. For an older listing, use the seller’s actual packaging and product details, not a mixed gallery of old and new promotional images.
Check the market and total price. The Korean reference above is in Korean won. International shipping, local retail pricing and seller charges can change what you actually pay. The official-store button is for product identification and current Korean information; it is not an international-delivery guarantee.
Does this mean Jimin recommends the current version?
No such conclusion follows from the older video. The defensible statement is that he showed a lip product then, and that reporting identified it as the older Bobbi Brown product. This page separates that appearance from the current store information. It does not claim that he has personally tested or endorsed every later revision.
If you only want the recognizable visual effect, focus on a comfortable sheer finish and try the color on your lips. If collecting the exact video-era item is your priority, the older product name and packaging matter more than buying the newest version.
