KickFlip My First Kick: Why March 9 and April 6 Mean Different Releases

2026. 10. 31. 07:17

Two dates appear under My First Kick on KickFlip’s official website. They do not describe two interchangeable album editions. March 9 belongs to the advance release of “Twenty”; April 6 identifies the seven-track fourth mini album. Start with that distinction if you are finding the full album after hearing one song.

This is a guide to the April 2026 release, checked against JYP’s artist archive on October 30. It is not a new comeback announcement or a claim that this is the group’s latest release.

The similar cover and repeated title make the date easy to miss. The full-album page explicitly identifies the fourth mini album and lists seven tracks. The earlier page introduces “Twenty” before that album’s release. A search result showing the earlier date therefore does not, by itself, establish the release date of the complete record.

A simple listening route through the record

JYP marks “Eye-Poppin’” as the title track and places “Twenty” second. The remaining sequence is “Stup!d,” “Backward,” “Scroll,” “Roar,” and “My Direction.” Use that order to check that the service has opened the album rather than just the advance single.

For a first visit, compare the two opening tracks before continuing through the remaining five. That is an editorial listening suggestion, not an official ranking. JYP describes the album around early-twenties first attempts and a continuing first-love story, and credits member participation across the songs. That does not mean every member performed the same writing role on every track; consult detailed credits when an individual contribution matters.

Listening links do not specify a physical package

The artist archive is a useful starting point for the music. It is not a complete inventory of every shop’s CD, photocard or preorder benefit. If you want a physical copy, check the seller’s exact edition, included playback medium and package list separately.

A practical check is to write down three things before paying: the album title, the edition name and whether you will receive a CD or another listening format. Then compare the promised extras. A cover image alone cannot guarantee a particular member card or a complete set.

For an example of why the playback format matters, our Hearts2Hearts guide compares a CD listing with a SMART album. It covers a different artist and is linked here for the buying check, not as another edition of My First Kick.
