Kim Sawon Sekki’s Cheongsan: What to Order Near Cheonggu Station

Cheongsan Junghwa Yori (청산중화요리) is the small Korean-Chinese restaurant near Cheonggu Station featured by Kim Sawon Sekki. His standouts were onion-rich gan-jjajang, crisp sweet-and-sour pork and smoky fried rice. At the menu prices checked on October 21, 2026, one gan-jjajang, one fried rice and a small tangsuyuk come to ₩26,000 before drinks or extras.
Why this restaurant made his shortlist
In his July 2025 video, Kim describes a tiny neighborhood restaurant with around four or five tables. He says Chinese restaurants rarely appear on his channel, but this one impressed him with both its food and its prices. The appeal is an everyday local meal rather than an elaborate dining-room experience.
This guide draws on his video and the restaurant’s current map listing. The flavor descriptions below are his observations from that visit, not a claim that we ate there ourselves.
Gan-jjajang or fried rice: which should you choose?
Gan-jjajang (간짜장) is the black-bean noodle option he highlights. He points out the fried onions before mixing the sauce into the noodles, then praises its deep black-bean flavor, balanced sweetness and saltiness, and chewy noodles. Choose it if you want the noodle dish that receives his clearest attention.
Bokkeumbap (볶음밥), or fried rice, is the alternative for a rice meal. He notices separate grains, wok aroma and a fried egg with crisp edges. A small serving of jjamppong broth accompanies it in the video; treat that as what was served on his visit, rather than a guaranteed extra with every order.
The tangsuyuk arrives with sauce on it
The two diners order a small tangsuyuk (탕수육), Korean-Chinese sweet-and-sour pork. Kim praises the balance between pork, coating and sauce, and says the coating stays crisp despite being dressed. He describes the sauce as pleasantly tangy.
The photograph shows that sauced style. If you prefer dipping each piece separately, ask whether sauce on the side is possible before ordering; the video does not establish that it is an available option.
Current menu prices and a two-person order
- Jjajangmyeon (짜장면): ₩5,000
- Gan-jjajang (간짜장): ₩6,000
- Fried rice (볶음밥): ₩6,000
- Jjamppong (짬뽕): ₩5,500
- Tangsuyuk, small / medium / large: ₩14,000 / ₩18,000 / ₩22,000
A practical combination for two is one noodle dish + one fried rice + one small tangsuyuk. Using gan-jjajang, that totals ₩26,000, or ₩13,000 each when split evenly. Appetite varies, and drinks or other dishes add to the bill.
The video shows gan-jjajang and fried rice at ₩5,500 each. Those are 2025 prices, not the current figure above. Naver’s menu is marked updated July 20, 2026 and was checked for this guide on October 21, 2026.

Watch the meal, then compare the Korean guide
The original video also includes seafood jjamppong. Its bowl was divided between the two diners on that occasion, but this should not be presented as a standing service. Watch the footage if you want to compare that soup with the noodle-and-rice combination above.
