NMIXX Strange Muse: Birthday Wish and the Three Unit Pairings Explained
Strange Muse, released on October 19, 2026, divides NMIXX’s six-track programme between group songs and three member-pair tracks. If you have seen different names attached to clips from the album, the official track list explains why: the second half highlights distinct two-member combinations.
Start with the album title, then the title track
Strange Muse is the album name. Its title track is Birthday Wish, also listed under the Korean title 긴 소원. JYP describes a pop arrangement combining moombahton, Afro and future-house elements. That is the label’s description, rather than a claim that every track on the release uses the same style.

Who sings the unit songs?
- LILY and HAEWON: Sing to the Moon.
- SULLYOON and BAE: Hot ’n Unbothered.
- JIWOO and KYUJIN: WHIP.
The first three entries are Birthday Wish, Kerosene and RudE TaLK. The official credits identify lyric participation from the members in each pair’s song, with KYUJIN also credited for rap-making on WHIP.
A useful way to navigate the release
For a first pass, keep the official sequence rather than mixing performance clips with album tracks. On a second pass, use the pair names above to locate the unit material. This makes it easier to match a short clip with the correct song without assuming that every upload featuring two members is a separate solo release.
English searches can also separate the two naming levels: use “NMIXX Strange Muse” for the complete release and “NMIXX Birthday Wish” for the title track. Add the member pair when you want one of the unit tracks. Those are navigation suggestions, not guarantees about search rankings.
For a different October release, see IVE’s Looks Can Kill release timeline. Compare the album and song names before combining them in a playlist.
