What Poongja liked
In the September 4, 2026 Gijang episode of Ttoganjip, a rescue worker and an accommodation operator recommended this restaurant. The branch was in Ilgwang, not the similarly named Cheolma location.
Poongja tried the grilled fish first, welcoming the mackerel’s salty flavor with rice. She preferred the yeolgi fish, describing natural sweetness and flesh that was firmer yet softened pleasantly as she ate.
Gejang means marinated crab: ganjang-gejang uses soy sauce, while yangnyeom-gejang has a spicy seasoned coating. Poongja liked that the soy-marinated crab was not excessively sweet, and praised the sweet, spicy and savory balance of the seasoned version.
She also said the crab pieces were smaller than expected. That matters if your priority is picking substantial meat from a large crab rather than enjoying crab seasoning with rice.

Choose by order, not just party size
The menu updated September 14 and checked Oct 20 2026 listed the female swimming-crab set at ₩15,000, including soy-marinated female crab, seasoned crab, rice, soup and side dishes. Baekban means a rice-based set meal.
Grilled-fish sets were listed at ₩11,000 per person when ordered for two or more, versus ₩15,000 for the single-person set. The former listed mackerel, flounder, hairtail and yeolgi; the single-person version listed three of those kinds.
One female-crab set plus one single-person fish set therefore totaled ₩30,000 under that dated menu—not ₩26,000 simply because two people visited. One additional fish variety was listed at ₩5,000; dishes could finish early when ingredients ran out.
Location and waiting rules
The dated address was 부산 기장군 일광읍 삼성길 9-13, 1층, telephone 051-723-6989. Listed hours were Wednesday–Sunday, 10:30–21:00, last order 20:10; Monday and Tuesday closures had a public-holiday exception, so check date-specific notices.
An October 2 notice allowed remote queuing through Tabling or Naver Place once at least two parties were waiting. It required arrival before only one party remained ahead, then entry of the on-site six-digit confirmation code in the app; omission could trigger cancellation.
