Sana’s Bose Headphones and Open Earbuds: Why She Carries Both

Sana’s bag includes two colors of Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and a pair of Ultra Open Earbuds. In her Harper’s BAZAAR Korea bag tour, her explanation is refreshingly practical: the headphones work with different outfits, while the smaller earbuds are easier to carry when she wants less bulk.
Two headphones, one styling decision
At around 0:41 in the video published on July 14, 2026, Sana introduces two headphone cases. She explains that they are the same product in different colors. When wearing black for airport photos, she did not always want a light-colored pair of headphones, which led to the additional color.
This is an outfit preference rather than a comparison of sound quality. If you are choosing a color, her approach offers a useful starting point: consider the clothes, bags, and accessories you actually wear most often.

Open earbuds for a lighter bag
At about 1:05, Sana shows the Ultra Open Earbuds. She says she carries them when the headphones feel cumbersome or add too much to her bag. Her explanation is about portability; it does not establish that one device is better for every situation.
Bose describes the Ultra Open Earbuds as a cuff-style design that leaves the ear canal open. That fit differs from headphones that sit over the ears. Before comparing prices, it helps to decide which wearing style you find comfortable and how much room you have for the charging case.

Check the generation before buying
The video labels the headphones as QC Ultra Headphones without displaying a generation number. Bose announced its second-generation QuietComfort Ultra Headphones in September 2025, but the label alone does not identify the exact generation Sana owns.
The Ultra Open Earbuds require a separate distinction: Bose announced the second generation in September 2026, after this July video. Specifications for that newer model should not be attributed to the earbuds shown in her bag tour. Check battery life, charging options, and connectivity on the page for the exact model you intend to buy.

A practical way to choose
Start with your priority: matching an outfit, reducing what you carry, or finding a comfortable fit. If you wear glasses or earrings, trying the device with those accessories can help you judge how they sit together.
Also consider whether you want an open-ear design or a listening experience centered on blocking outside noise. Those are different preferences. Sana’s bag tour is most useful as an example of choosing for the occasion, rather than a reason to purchase every device she owns.
