Tteokbokqueen’s Daewangpan in Songdo: Three Kinds of Tteok and Fried Snacks

Can't choose between wheat and rice tteokbokki? Daewangpan Tteokbokki (대왕판떡볶이) in Songdo uses three kinds of tteok. Tteokbokqueen highlighted that combination, the thick sauce and the handmade fried snacks in her October 20, 2026 video. This guide focuses on the Songdo main branch, not a festival stall or the separate Songdo Triple branch.

Three kinds of tteok, one thick sauce

The video identifies mil-tteok, garaetteok and ssal-tteok: wheat-based pieces, long cylindrical rice cakes and rice-tteok pieces. The restaurant's own description also said it prepared three types. Mido fish cakes appeared with the mixture.

Tteokbokqueen described the sauce as spicy-sweet, rich in savoury flavour and thick enough to cling to the food. That is her description of the dish shown. It points toward a sauce-coated style rather than a large bowl of thin broth, but does not establish how spicy every visitor will find it.

The video carries a paid-promotion notice and introduces tteokbokki-festival participants. It should not be presented as an independently paid restaurant review. The branch details below come from the main restaurant's recorded menu and notices, checked separately on October 20.

Why look at the fried snacks?

The footage shows thick-cut sweet potato, vegetables including perilla leaves and carrot, and rolled seaweed snacks being prepared. Tteokbokqueen particularly praised the vegetable fritter and the combination of crispy fried food with the substantial tteokbokki sauce.

For a first order, tteokbokki plus fried snacks is a straightforward combination to consider. Ask which pieces are available and whether you can choose them: the filmed selection is not a guarantee that every variety will be ready at every visit.

Single dishes or a set?

The menu checked on October 20, 2026, with a displayed update date of June 13, listed one tteokbokki portion at ₩5,500. Three handmade fried snacks were ₩5,500, or ₩2,000 each. Sundae alone was ₩5,500; three fish cakes were ₩4,500, or ₩1,700 each; three mini gimbap rolls were ₩4,000.

At those recorded prices, one tteokbokki portion plus three fried snacks totals ₩11,000. That may be easier to understand than choosing a set when you do not want sundae or a drink. Prices are dated menu information and should be checked again before ordering.

• Set A, ₩12,500: one tteokbokki portion, one sundae portion, one fried snack and a 350mL can of Coolpis.
• Set B, ₩20,000: two tteokbokki portions, one fish-cake portion, one fried-snack portion and 930mL Coolpis or a 500mL soft drink.
• Set C, ₩25,500: two tteokbokki portions, one sundae portion, one fish-cake portion, one fried-snack portion and the larger drink choice.

The easy detail to miss is that Set A includes one fried piece, not a whole fried-snack portion. Compare the contents rather than treating the set letter as a reliable number of people it will feed.

Spice, opening hours and the correct branch

The restaurant notice said the spice level could not be adjusted. Do not assume a mild version is available if you dislike heat or are sharing with a child.

The checked main-branch address is Shop 111, retail building, 415 Central-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon (인천 연수구 센트럴로 415, 판매시설동 111호). The listing placed it about 293 metres from Exit 3 of Songdo Moonlight Festival Park Station. Recorded hours were 11:00–20:30, closed Tuesdays, with early closure possible when ingredients sell out. The store notice offered two free hours in the commercial car park near the rear entrance of Hillstate Songdo The Terrace. Confirm the validation procedure before leaving. Use the main-branch name in navigation: the Songdo Triple location is a different destination.
