The yellow grooved sponge in Yoon Hye-jin’s household-items video is the Scrub Daddy Damp Duster. It is a dusting tool used with water, rather than an ordinary dishwashing sponge. Her demonstration makes that distinction useful: she wets the tool and uses it to wipe a dusty area in the kitchen.

The item she shows in her household tour

In the January 29, 2026 episode on Yoon Hye-jin’s What see TV, the Damp Duster appears at around 4:42. Yoon says she has used the Scrub Daddy item for a long time, then demonstrates wiping dust with water. The product list in the video description identifies the item as Scrub Daddy Damp Duster, and the yellow version is also tagged below the video.

A different, flatter sponge appears immediately before it. That earlier tool is introduced for wiping up moisture, so the two should not be combined into a single product recommendation. For Yoon’s dusting pick, look for the grooved Damp Duster rather than assuming that every yellow sponge in the sequence is the same item.

How the manufacturer says to use it

Scrub Daddy instructs users to wet the Damp Duster before each use to soften the foam. The product is designed to collect dust, then be rinsed under running water for reuse. The company lists blinds, vents, baseboards, railings, and mirrors among its examples of suitable dusting tasks. Its product page also states that the material contains wheat starch.

The important step is dampening it first. The product’s name refers to how it is used, and it should not be approached like a dry feather duster. Check both the product instructions and the care requirements of the surface you intend to clean.

Think about the job you want it to do

Yoon’s example is about collecting dust from a surface. That is different from removing stubborn cooking grease, scrubbing a pan, or soaking up a spill. When comparing household tools, start with the mess you are trying to clean and the material underneath it. A tool that suits one small task does not have to replace everything else in the cupboard.

For a shelf or similar area, consider whether the finish tolerates a damp wipe and whether you can conveniently rinse the tool afterward. The rinsing step is part of the routine, so access to water matters. Avoid inferring that a dusting product is suitable for every delicate finish or electronic component simply because it is small and soft-looking.

Buying the correct version

Compare the name, shape, color option, and number of pieces in a pack before ordering. Yoon shows a yellow grooved sponge, while color and bundle options can vary by store. Prices and availability may also change; this article does not assign a single current price to every market.

The original video includes a notice that the creator receives commission on tagged products. That context belongs alongside the demonstration. Her enthusiasm is a personal recommendation, while the manufacturer’s directions remain the reference for using the tool.
